A partnering between Republic Polytechnic, NEC Solutions, and Aussino Home Fashions resulted in a SCM (supply chain management) solution based on EPCGlobal's EPC (electronic product code) - which was accepted as an ISO standard recently. This solution is a first for SCM for the region, and a test facility will be established in the Polytechnic's School of Engineering to study improvements to inventory contorol processes.
