New R&D Alliance formed in Taiwan

ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES INC. has created a R&D partnership with Oracle Corporation's Taiwan Branch (aka "Oracle Taiwan") and the Institution of Engineering of Institute for Information Industry ("III") to develop a real time information system that will be used by semiconductor supply chains.

The RFID-based information system that will be developed by this R&D alliance will help the consortium's customers to access real time information about the production status. Moreover, this will also reduce operating costs.
