ABI Research launches new database

Taking a step forward ABI Research has launched a new database as part of its RFID Research Service. The RFID Tag IC Market Sizing Database will get all relevant shipment data of RFID IC manufacturers worldwide.

Director of ABI Research's RFID and M2M research practice, Erik Michielsen  says;

It provides a fundamental understanding of where the market stands today, and gives us a better understanding of supply and demand dynamics as we forecast the market over the next three to five years.

Some global silicon manufacturers played a role in developing the database.

Michielsen notes,

By putting their trust in ABI Research, they helped create a much-needed, extremely detailed body of information focused specifically on the RFID marketplace. Semiconductor industry associations may be able to provide tracking information for chips, but not with this level of detail.
