Sandtracker RFID tags

The Sandtracker RFID tags have been giving unacceptable accuracy levels and this has led the company to look into its manufacturing process. Sandtracker manufactures its tags using a simple technology and this helps it to keep its price low. The company has come up with a prototype tag with help from the University of Adelaide. The prototype can currently hold three digits of information.

Sandtracker is also working on an anti-theft tag designed to function with products that have a metal casing, such as music systems. Anti-theft tags do not require a large amount of information to be stored and the Sandtracker tags work well in the presence of interference.
