Aberdeen Group Report positive about RFID future despite challenges posed

A recent study by Aberdeen Group states that more than half of the senior management people who participated in the study are positive about the value addition of RFID in their organizations. Two-third of these respondents claimed significant differentiation in the existing business processes because of RFID. Despite this optimism there are some negative shades to this study. More than fifty percent of the participants have stated that they have still not identified RFID’s value proposition while forty eight percent claim that they are implementing RFID in pilot stages because of it being new.
