Alien Technology has announced its plans to raise $120million from the share market through an Initial Public Offering (IPO). Alien Technology has long been in the frontline of the radio frequency identification chips (RFID) market. It has accordingly filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
So far, Alien has $200 million worth of investors’ money riding on it. On the revenue side, Alien Technology clocked about $20 million in sales in 2005.
