Paxar inks RFID deal with Microsoft

Paxar Cor., has inked a RFID deal with Seattle-based Microsoft Corporation. The pact will enable company's Monarch 9855 RFID printer to function impeccably with Microsoft's BizTalk RFID.

The leading retail barcode maker Paxar explained that the customers of Microsoft BizTalk RFID could get the benefit of Paxar's printing and encoding capabilities. They will also use the smart tags and labels of Paxar. Meanwhile, Paxar's shares were down 22 cents at $20.83 in the NYSE and Microsoft shares drop 21cents to $22.29 on the NASDAQ.
