Animal microchips based on RFID tags developed by Sunshine Technology and Gribbles

Gribbles Molecular Science and Sunshine Technology have developed the next generation animal microchips which are based on writable RFID tags. As compared to the other microchips, this RFID tag can store more information. Once the DNA profiling of the animal is conducted, it can be downloaded onto the RFID microchip along with other information such as owner’s name, address and contact number. The features of this chip make it quite unique and it is more useful as compared to the currently available micro chips.
