Lemmi Fashion will use RFID

Lemmi Fashion, a Germany-based maker of children's apparel, will use RFID solutions from Checkpoint Systems. Lemmi Fashion wants to improve its speed to market, inventory management, and order accuracy.

Lemmi Fashion are regarded as specialists in custom fit clothing for children in the European and Asian markets. The company offers around 250-280 styles per season, and about 1 million garments per year.

The RFID solutions will consist of RFID hangtags. These will be Performa(R) 13.56 MHz RFID-enabled hangtags. The hangtags contain a visible version of the RFID tag and a traditional bar code. They will store data such as article number, size, and color.
