New Wisconsin Bill will outlaw mandatory microchip implants

Soon, Wisconsin will become the first state in the United States to ban governments and private businesses from forcing microchip implants on people. This bill also puts a ban on covert implanting of microchips. Once in force, this bill will surely be a big win for privacy activists.

Moreover, the bill also proposes fines of up to $10,000 for violators.

The bill, originally drafted by Rep. Marlin Schneider, won approval in the State Assembly in March, 2006. This Tuesday, the bill will be discussed by the state Senate
